The Raynard & Peirce Real Estate Co. was incorporated in 1972.  Ross Beaujon and Nicholas Fanelli were the founding brokers.  The original office was on Railroad Street in Canaan where the real estate company shared space with Raynard & Peirce Inc., the insurance agency.  In 1979 both companies relocated to the current site, the Raynard & Peirce building, on Main Street in Canaan.  In 1989 Fanelli became the sole owner and broker of the real estate company.

There are several past agents and brokers affiliated with the real estate company who have built the company's reputation over the years. Raynard & Peirce Realty was sold in 2018 to Wendy Eichman, Broker, who was an associate broker at the time.
